Winscombe Michaelmas Fair and Show

This years Michaelmas Fair and Show takes place on Saturday 14th September,  in it’s 34th year at Winscombe Community Centre, is all set to be another popular day.

David Welham is looking for volunteers to man the club stand between 2-5.30pm -if you’re able to help let us know via general enquiries

With hundreds of show exhibits, music and entertainment by Bold Brass, The Winscombe Community Choir and The Chalice Morris Men, plus the popular display of dog agility. There is also all the fun of a large fete filling the big field – stalls, games, rides, inflatables, tombola, bric-a-brac, books, and the popular raffle – there will be something for everyone.

Refreshments are available all afternoon, including filled rolls, BBQ, cream teas, hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams.

Adults, juniors and children resident in Winscombe & Sandford Parish, or attending the schools, are eligible to enter all
categories of the Show which has over 200 classes to choose from.

Entry Forms and details are given in the Lucky Programme on sale house to house and in local shops for £1 or can be downloaded following the link:-

Please note that some classes are open to all (not restricted to local residents).
Last date for Entry Forms to be submitted is Thursday 12th September.

Organised by Winscombe Community Association, all proceeds from the Show and Grand Draw help improve and maintain facilities
at the Community Centre. Last year raised over £5000, enabling the many groups who use the facility to keep running.
